We will never sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Platform-Specific Privacy

When using a Bot Bloke chatbot on a third-party platform, that platform’s own privacy policy also applies. For example:

Messages on Facebook Messenger are also subject to Meta’s Privacy Policy.

Messages on WhatsApp are subject to WhatsApp’s Privacy Policy.

Bot Bloke securely stores the data we receive, and our use is limited to delivering the chatbot service and relaying your enquiry to the intended recipient.

5. Security

We apply industry-standard safeguards, including encryption and access controls, to protect your information. While we take these measures seriously, no system is completely secure, so please avoid sharing highly sensitive personal information unless necessary.

We keep your information only as long as required to:

Deliver the services you’ve requested.

Improve service quality.

Meet legal obligations under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

You may request deletion of your conversation history or personal data at any time (see “Your Rights” below).

Under the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), you have the right to:

Access and request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.

Request corrections to inaccurate or incomplete information.

Make a complaint if you believe your privacy has been breached.

We will respond to all requests in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

8. Cookies & Tracking

When you use a Bot Bloke chatbot on our website, we may use cookies or similar technologies to improve performance and personalise your experience. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work as intended.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website, with the “Last Updated” date reflecting the most recent changes.

10. Third-Party Software & Data Hosting

Bot Bloke licenses software from Go High Level (GHL) to deliver certain parts of our services to clients.

Here’s what this means for you and your data:

Data hosting location

GHL’s servers and databases are hosted in Amazon Web Services (AWS) data centers located in the United States.

All customer account data, contacts, conversations, pipelines, automations, and media processed via our GHL platform are stored on these servers.

Security and compliance

AWS is a highly secure cloud provider and is compliant with international security standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR-ready infrastructure.

GHL itself uses data encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest (AES-256) to protect stored information.

While this data is securely stored overseas, Bot Bloke continues to comply with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) when handling all personal information.
